An old bronze plaque of Veerabhadra
Veerabhadra is the embodiment of Shiva's anger and impatience. A fierce and powerful god he is unstoppable and unsurmountable.
This plate shows four handed Veerabhadra in the centre. He holds a Khadga (sword) and Baana (arrow) in his right hands, a Kavacha (shield) and a Dhanush (bow) in his left two hands. He is flanked on either side by the goat headed Daksha and another deity, both as supplicants.
