This miniature copper figurine of Krishna is a great example of how advanced Indian metal art was in the times of the Cholas. This figurine is the size of a thumb but still very detailed.
Venugopala form depicts divinity of Lord Krishna, where while he is seen a cowherd with a cow and playing flute, his two upper arms show him bearing Shankha (conch) and Chakra (disc), divine attributes of Vishnu whose incarnation Krishna is.
This is a very old copper figurine.
