An antique brass statue of Devi in Chamundeshwari form. Devi in Chamundeshwari form is the principal deity in the Chamundeshwari Temple of Mysore in Karnataka.
This rare brass statue shows Devi with eighteen arms, adorned with all her attributes. The buffalo head at her feet is that of Mahishasura, the buffalo demon that was slayed by the Goddess. Devi's steed, the lion is set in the backdrop of the statue.
This is a very old piece of brass artwork and rare too.
