This wooden artefact was originally a utility item in a Tibetan household. It was used to store Yak-milk butter.
It is quite an old wooden box but in a very good condition. It has a detachable lid that can slide in through a slot in the box.
This authentic Tibetan butter-box is a collectible and may even have a high antique value.
