A small copper figurine of Sri Vishnu. A replica of an antique idol of Hindu god Vishnu. This is exceptional South Indian copper work in this small a size. The statue is well detailed and very neatly crafted.
Vishnu is regarded the Sustainer of the Universe in Hindu philosophy, who also assumes the forms of Brahma and Shiva, which manifest and annihilate creation respectively. All three are manifestations of Narayana, the highest lord. Narayana becomes Vishnu from whom Brahma originates. From Brahma comes Shiva.
