South Indian wood carving of Hindu god Sri Ganesha. This is an ornately carved wood sculpture of god Ganesha. The wood carving is washed in subtle colours that lend it an extra appeal. This is Carnatic style wood carving created by skilled, traditional artists of South India.
Ganesha is seen seated on a lotus pedestal holding ankusha (goad) and pasha (noose) in his upper right and left hands respectively.
