This is the Mahisha Mardini form of Goddess Durga.
The Goddess is the personification of primeval energy. She is known by many names in Hindu parlance such as Adi Shakti, Prakriti, Maha Maayaa, Avidya and so on, each indicating her relation with the Supreme or the being.
Here she is shown slaying Mahishasura - the buffalo demon.
She stands on the demon ready to slay him with her trident. She is shown sporting various weapons as (clockwise from lower right), Khadga (knife), Shar (arrow), Ankush (goad), Chakra (discus), Shankha (conch), Paasha (noose), Dhanush (bow) and Kavacha (shield).
With two of her hands she holds a Trishula (trident) diagonally pointed at Mahisha.
One of her hands is raised in Abhaya Mudra (assurance) and the other hand is in Varada Mudra (granting). Her mount, a lion, stands behind.Sold Out
