Copper Idol Of Shiva Seated In Sukhasana

A copper idol of Siva seated on a lotus pedestal with <a href="https://www.cottage9.com/product/carved-marble-nandi-statue/">Nandi</a> (Shiva&nbsp;’s bull mount) at his feet. This is called <em>Sukhasana Murti</em> where Shiva is seated in <em>Sukhasana</em> or relaxed pose. <br> <br>Siva is seen four-armed with his upper two hands holding <em>parashu</em> (axe) and <em>mrig</em> (deer) which is the personification of <em>yajna</em> (Vedic sacrifice). His lower hands are posed in <em>abhaya</em> (fearlessness granting) and <em>varada</em> (boon granting) mudra. <br> <br>He is beautifully adorned with jewellery and wears a rich crown. This is a rare, small idol of Shiva.
