Srinivasa Vishnu Stone Statue

Vishnu, the Preserver among the Trinity in Hindu theology has innumerable forms. Each form has a name and a story associated with it. <br> <br>One of these forms is Sri Nivasa, literally meaning 'the one in whom resides Sri (Goddess of wealth who is also Vishnu's consort)'. <br> <br>This stone-carved sculpture is that of Sri Nivasa. Being the husband of Sri (or Lakshmi), Vishnu is seen in all his royal majesty in this form. Bedecked with crown and ornaments he is also the main deity of the famous Venkateshwara temple in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. <br> <br>Carved in Granite, Vishnu holds Chakra (disc) and Shankha (conch shell) in his top two hands. One of his lower hands is shown in varadahasta mudra (boon giving pose) pose and the other is shown extended to rest on his thigh in katyavalambita mudra. <br> <br>The statue is carved in Carnatic style of stone carving and a unique stone carving of Lord Venkateshwara for sale online.
