Tibetan Buddhist Statue Of Deity Padmasambhava

This beautiful sculpture of Padmasambhava has his accurate and typical iconography with his general attributes. <br> <br>Here he is shown seated on a lotus seat fashioned in Tibetan style. He holds the Vajra sceptre in his right hand resting on his knee. In his left he holds an elixir vase placed within a bowl of skull. Leaning on his left shoulder is the Khatvanga, his staff, surmounted by the Vajra cross, vase of elixir, three heads - wet, shrunken and skull and the trident. <br> <br>He wears royal ornaments and robes indicative of his royal status. He wears a hat unique to him.
