An old Indian lithograph of Krishna showing his Vishwarupam to Arjuna. An antique lithograph from an old publishing company in India. Such themes from Indian scriptures and mythology have always been a part of the Indian way of life as small clay figurines or paintings or statues.
Publishing companies too have contributed on their part in the shape of calendar art which has been adorning the walls of an average Indian house since last so many decades.
This is one such print of Vishwaroopam of Krishna as shown to Arjuna on the battlefield of Kurkshetra, before the Mahabharata war . It captures the event very well; succeeding in depicting the expanse and enormity of Krishna’s Viswaroopam.
