This is a print of one such original art by S. Rajam. This painting-print is of Hindu god Vishnu, revered as Narayana – the highest Lord. He is seen standing in Karananava (the Causal Ocean) with Adi Shesha, the great Puranic serpent shading him. He sports his usual attributes – Shankha (conch), Chakra (discus), Gada (mace) and Padma (lotus).
The painting is very subtly colored and the blue hue on Vishnu’s body is just the right blue.
